Mobile service centre software for repairs, warranty and brand returns
Kshitij ERP runs the service desk of a mobile or electronics store: a job card for every unit that comes in, the customer's approval before chargeable work starts, warranty checked by IMEI, units sent to the brand and followed back, and the repair billed with GST.
A job card for every repair
Each job card records the unit, the fault and the customer, and moves through received, diagnosed, in repair, waiting for parts, ready to collect and closed. A chargeable job does not go into repair until the customer approves the estimate, and a revision of more than 10% asks again. Every job runs against the time set for its kind of work, counted in the desk's own hours.
- Job cards & warrantyRepairs, warranty lookup, SLA clocks.
The customer told at each step
The desk sends the customer a message when the unit is received, when an estimate is waiting for their answer, when it goes to the brand and when it is ready to collect, with the job receipt attached. Once it is handed over, the customer can rate the job from a link.
- WhatsApp & emailCustomer messages on templates you control.
Warranty by IMEI, and replacement inside the window
Scan the IMEI of a unit a customer brings back: whether you sold it, to whom and when, and whether it is still covered. A unit that fails inside its replacement window, for a brand that allows it, is swapped from stock, and the dead unit is held for the brand.
- Serial & IMEI trailInwarding to sale to warranty.
Sent to the brand and followed back
Units for the brand — dead-on-arrival units and customers' units going to the brand's service centre — leave on a numbered delivery challan and stay on the brand-returns list until they come back. What a brand owes for the schemes it funds is followed as a claim until it is settled.
- Brand claimsRaised to brands, followed to settlement.
Parts and repair bills in the books
Parts used on a job leave stock against it. A chargeable repair is billed like any sale — labour as a service and each part at its own HSN and rate — so the GST, the customer's ledger and the returns include it. Service reports show open jobs by age, repeat repairs, parts used and customer ratings.

Mobile service centre software: questions retailers ask
Short answers. For the long ones, ask us to show you on a demo.
What is mobile service centre software?
Software for the repair desk of a phone or electronics store: job cards, estimates, warranty checks, parts, units sent to the brand and repair bills, kept with the same customers and stock as the shop. Kshitij ERP runs each of these from its service screens.
Does the customer approve the estimate before a repair starts?
Yes. A chargeable job cannot go into repair until its estimate is approved, and a revision of more than 10% needs a fresh approval. A job under warranty needs no estimate.
Can I check a phone's warranty by its IMEI?
Yes. Warranty lookup takes the IMEI or serial and shows whether you sold the unit, on which bill and to whom, and whether it is still covered — including whether it is inside the replacement window.
Does it track phones sent to the brand's service centre?
Yes. Each unit leaves on a numbered delivery challan and stays on the brand-returns list until it is back, and its job card shows it as with the brand.
Can the customer be told when the phone is ready?
Yes. Messages go to the customer when the job is received, when an estimate is waiting, when the unit goes to the brand and when it is ready to collect — in words you set on your own templates.
How do I see which repairs are running late?
The job queue shows jobs past their time, jobs at risk and jobs nobody has looked at yet. The clock waits while the customer decides on an estimate, a part is on order or the unit is with the brand.
