Kshitij ERP — GST filing terms (e-invoice and e-way bill)

Last updated 4 November 2026

The app sends your e-invoices and e-way bills to the government's systems through a GST Suvidha Provider, using your own GSTIN's login. What you file is yours to get right, and we cannot answer for those systems being down.

  1. The service. The app sends the Customer's documents to the Invoice Registration Portal and the e-way bill system through a GST Suvidha Provider (the “GSP”), and keeps what comes back — the IRN, the signed QR code, the e-way bill number — with the document. Before an IRN it may ask the portal whether the buyer's GSTIN is active.
  2. The Customer's login. The API users the portal and the GSP issue are registered to the Customer's own GSTINs and entered in the app's settings by the Customer. They act as the Customer. The Customer keeps them current and tells Kshitij at once if one may have been exposed. The app keeps them encrypted.
  3. What is filed is the Customer's. The Customer is responsible for every document it sends — the buyer, the HSN codes, the values and the tax — and for deciding when the law requires an e-invoice or an e-way bill. A number from the portal means the portal accepted the document, not that the document is right.
  4. Time limits. The portals set their own time limits, such as the window for cancelling an IRN or an e-way bill. The app shows the ones it knows, but meeting them is the Customer's responsibility.
  5. When the portals are down. When the portal or the GSP is down or slow, the app says so and the request can be tried again. Kshitij is not liable for a document those systems did not accept in time, or for the tax, interest or penalties that follow.
  6. The record. Every request the app makes to the GSP and every answer is kept as evidence, with passwords and keys masked, and the Customer can read it in the app.
  7. Charges. Each IRN, e-way bill and other request the portal accepts is charged at Kshitij's rate card on the day it is made, billed monthly with the usage statement. Use of a test system is never charged.
  8. Limit of liability. Kshitij's liability for GST filing is capped at the GST filing charges the Customer paid in the 3 months before the claim. Indirect loss, and tax, interest and penalties, are excluded.
  9. When GST filing ends. The app stops calling the GSP. The IRNs and e-way bill numbers already obtained stay with their documents, in the Customer's books and its export.
